Beachview Traditional – Dana Point, CA

Designed to take advantage of sunset views over the ocean at the Strand at Headlands, this home provides traditional architecture for bluff-top living along the coast. The structure is built using long-spanning steel beams, wood engineered lumber beams, and I-joist infill, supported on a mat slab to control differential settlement. The end result is a custom home with two-story vaulted ceilings and rear-facing ocean views made possible by multi-level ordinary moment frames.
