Anthony Munoz Community Center – Ontario, CA

The 13,000 square foot single-story community center includes a 2,500 square foot multi-purpose room with a dividing operable partition, a teaching kitchen, two activity/classrooms with a dividing operable partition, Tot Room with outdoor play area, administrative office space, and a 25-yard recreation pool with an enclosed outdoor patio area. The special intention is paid to detailing of exposed long-span Alaskan Yellow Cedar girders and tube steel braced frames. Tube steel and exposed wood high-volume clerestory galleries provide circulation between the wings of the building.
